CHAS. YEDLICKA

Chas. Yedlicka, age 48, one of Milam county's most substantial Bohemian farmers, who lived on the P. H. Perry place near Tracy, died last Sunday evening, and was buried in the Pleasant Grove cemetery near Rockdale Monday afternoon, Rev. Fr. Walther, pastor of the Lutheran church, officiating. Mr. Yedlicka died at the Cameron Hospital from the effects of blood poisoning. Last April he contracted a small sore on one hand. Blood poison developed, and he spent about six weeks in the Cameron Hospital, where at one time he seemed to be recovering. Later the trouble spread to other portions of his body, and after suffering untold agony for many weeks he finally succumbed.
Decedent was born in Austria, and came to Texas 24 years ago, settling in Bell county. Fourteen years ago he moved to this county, and proved himself a good farmer and a good citizen. He leaves a wife and two grown daughters.
