*Obituary
Funeral services for Herman J. England, 78, Borger, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Minton Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor Bible Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery [sic] by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Mr. England died Thursday, Nov. 14, 1991 in High Plains Baptist Hospital in Amarillo.
A native of Quitaque, he had been a Borger resident since 1946. He was a retired lead off man for Phillips Petroleum Company.
Survivors include his wife, Jessie of the home; three daughters; Wanda Cogdill of Bartlesville, Okla.; Elsie Denton of Yukon, Okla.; and Betty McCoy of Borger; a brother, Bertie England of Amarillo; two sisters, Drucilla Couch of Plainview; and Nelma Collins of Amarillo; 9 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Mike Cogdill, Gary Denton, Sean McGillicuddy, Daniel Collins, Reggie McCoy, Gerald McGillicuddy, and Mark Grant.
