Charles Wyatt, pastor of New Life Baptist Church, Claremore, Okla., officiating. Burial will be at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday in Westlawn Memorial Park, west of Borger.
Mrs. Englund was born March 29, 1927, to Joe Wiley Norman and Mary Lois Connally Norman in Achille, Okla. Her main career was as office manager for Lewis Hardware and Supply Co. for many years.
Mary married Fred J. Englund on Feb. 16, 1952, in her parent's home at Borger. Blessed with two children, Mary was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker, wherever military duty and jobs moved the couple to serve, finally retiring to Amarillo in 1988. Throughout the years, she worked with enthusiasm in her community and the Baptist church. She served the Lord in many ways.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Karen Sue Englund Earnhart, wife of Jerry W. Earnhart of Borger; a son, Phillip D. Englund and wife, Connie, of Borger; six grandchildren, Dustin W. Earnhart and wife, Delpha, Whitney Brooke Earnhart, Joseph Logan and Chase Lane Englund, Ronnie Mitchell and wife, Renee, and Hope Mitchell; and three great-grandchildren, Noah, Seth and Haven Mitchell, all of Borger.
The family suggests memorials be to BSA Hospice, P.O. Box 950, Amarillo, TX 79105, and/or to the Harrington Cancer Center, 1500 Wallace Blvd., Amarillo, TX 79106.
