DAGGETT, VIVIAN BONNER ANDERSON age 86, of Dallas, Texas passed away peacefully June 6, 2010 at her home in Dallas. She was born on September 7, 1923 in Marianna, Arkansas to her parents, Horace Mercer Bonner and Vivian Emma Wild Bonner. Vivian was the third of six children. She married Kenneth Fletcher Anderson in Little Rock, Arkansas on March 11, 1943. They had four children. She was a longtime resident of the Lakewood area of Dallas, Texas. Vivian was a member of Urban Independent Methodist Church. She was a devout Christian and loved the Lord Jesus Christ. She enjoyed being with her family. Although small in stature, she was the strength that kept her family together. Vivian will be remembered by her loving children, Jane Moore and husband, Pat, Jim Anderson and wife, Teena, and Jeff Anderson, all of Dallas, Texas; her sisters, Frances Bundy of Houston, Texas, Jody Toler of Bryant, Arkansas and Edith Barrows of Shalimar, Florida; grandchildren, Dr. Laura Moore of Houston, Texas, Charlie Moore and wife, Stacy of Houston, Texas, Joe Moore and wife, Ashley of Dallas, Texas, Patricia and Sarah Anderson of Denton, Texas; and her great grandchildren, Elizabeth and Julia Moore of Houston, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Kenneth Fletcher Anderson; second husband, Maxcey Daggett; her eldest son, Jack Anderson and his wife Pat, and her brothers, Horace Edward Bonner and Thomas Benjamin Bonner. Friends and relatives are invited to celebrate Vivian’s life from 6:00PM – 8:00PM, Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be held at 12:30PM, Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at Restland Memorial Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to Urban Independent Methodist Church, 4306 Tolbert St., Dallas, TX 75227.”
