H. C. Fields, 82, of Hamilton died Monday, Jan. 18 at Hamilton General Hospital following an extended illness. Funeral services were held Thursday, Jan. 21 at Riley Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Tim Moody officiating. Burial was at Hurst Ranch Cemetery.
Mr. Fields was born Aug. 14, 1910, in Hamilton County to John Cyrus and Hettie L. Roberts Fields. He married Lera Childre February 23, 1929. He was a farmer and rancher and a member of the First Baptist Church in Hamilton.
Survivors include his wife, Lera; two sons, John E. Fields of and Gary M. Fields; two sisters, Mrs. Gladys Henry and Mrs. Euell Gardner; one brother, Cyrus W. Fields; and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers were John E. Fields, Gary M. Fields, Gary Jon Fields, Carole Fields, Cathey Fields, and Paula Fields
