BAINES, MARTHA, Born June 15, 1907 in Yancey, Texas. Died Sunday September 4, 2005, in Yancey, Texas. Martha and her husband moved to Dallas in 1933 and lived until his death in 1976. She then moved to Lake Palestine were she lived for 21 years, and back to Dallas until 1999 when she wanted to go back home to Yancey. She was a very active member of The Order Of Eastern Star, Chapter #28, and a member of Wilshire Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband Selwyn Baines and son Joe B. Baines, Sr. Her survivors include daughter-in-law Anna Baines; grandson Joe B. Baines, Jr. and his wife Laura; granddaughters; Gayle McVey and husband Stacy, Susan R. LaRash and husband John; three great-grandchildren: Meggy and Boni McVey, Joseph LaRash; and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held Wednesday September 7, 2005, at 10:00 a.m. in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Dignity Memorial Sparkman Hillcrest 7405 W. Northwest Hwy. Dallas (214) 363-5401
