Obituary for Uless
Funeral services for U.B. Followill, 58, who died Friday after an apparent heart attack, will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Ed Brown & Sons Chapel of the Fountains. The Rev. C.K. Tate, pastor of the First Southern Baptist Church at Fritch, will officiate.
Interment will be in the Westlawn Memorial Park.
Mr. Followill was employed by Phillips Petroleum Co. as a field operator in the exploration and production department. He had lived in the area 27 years and was a member of IOOF Lodge No. 94.
Surviving are his wife, Pearlie Lee; son, Donald W. of Camp Le Jeune, N.C.; two daughters, Mrs. Shirley Ann Kirkham, Perryton, Mrs. Linda Kay Miller, Garden City, Kan.; mother, Mrs. Bertha Followill, Holbrook, Ariz.; two brothers, Clyde of New Home, and Kenneth of Gainsville, and three sisters, Mrs. Juanita Standiford and Mrs. Opal W. Rutherford, both of Holbrook, Ariz., and Mrs. Pauline Hanna of Glendale, Ariz.

BORGER - Pearlie Lee Followill Boggess, 84, died Sunday, Feb. 23, 2003.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. today in Westlawn Memorial Park with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of Bible Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Boggess was born Nov. 1, 1918, in Grady County, Okla. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include a son, Donald Followill of Fritch; two daughters, Linda Wigart of Borger and Shirley Kirkham of Stratford; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
