*Obituary
Edith Forrest, 95, of Lawrence , GA formerly of Borger passed away Sunday, July 28, 2013. A service to honor her life will be held Friday , August 2, at 1:00 p.m. at Fellowship Baptist Church in Borger with Rev. Shawn Dunigan, pastor officiating. Burial will be at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Edith was born and raised on a farm in Retrop, OK. She married William " Bill " Forrest July 17, 1938 in Sentinel, Ok.. She lived in Borger from 1938 to 2010. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Borger from its early beginnings, participating in children's, youth and choral ministries for many years. She loved to cook for others and enjoyed quilting and crochet. After she moved to Georgia, she enjoyed friendships of the residents and staff at Courtyard Gardens Assisted Living.

Edith was preceded in death by her husband and daughter Barbara Sue Burkholder. She is survived by her daughter Linda Kay and husband Paul Ridinger of Lawrenceville, GA. Three grandchildren, five great grandchildren, nieces and nephews , great nieces and great nephews.

Memorials may be made to Fellowship Baptist Church, 305 N. Deahl Borger, Texas 79007 or favorite charity.
