Emerson Furr, 87, 802 Franklin in Borger died at 2:30 a.m. Tuesday in Golden Plains Community Hospital.
A retired owner of Furr Nursery, he was a native of Celeste, Texas and a Borger resident since 1936.
He was a Methodist.
He is survived by one daughter, Merlene Melton of Borger; two sisters, Ruth Gentry of Dallas, Ann Staton of Celeste, Texas; six grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
Services are pending with Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors.
