BORGER - Funeral arrangements will be announced by Minton Mortuary for Walter Gaines, 46, of 1212 Jim Hall, who died Monday afternoon in Veterans Administration Hospital in Amarillo.
Mr. Gaines was born in Cooper and had lived here for the past 15 years. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of New Zion Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Lizzie Mae; three sons, Walter Jr., John and Michael and two daughters, Mrs. Mary Nell and Mrs. Martha Lynn, all of Borger; and a granddaughter.
