*Obituary
Claude E. Galyon, 85, of 106 Estireno in Borger, died Friday morning in Golden Plains Community Hospital.
A retired operator at Phillips Petroleum's Plains Plant, he was a native of Bells, Texas, and a Borger resident for 42 years.
He was a member of the Monroe Street Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife Jewell; three sons - Dwight Galyon of Borger, Edwin Galyon of Irving, and Claude E. Galyon, Jr. of Buchanan Dam, Texas; two daughters - Nita Mayo of Smackover, Ark., and Melba Shipman of Borger; three sisters - Nettie Jenkins of Irving, Letha Taylor and Hazel Huileker, both of Denison; 13 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
Services are pending with Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Directors.
