LAMBERT, , RICHARD WAYNE Born on April 22, 1944, a lifetime Dallas resident, passed away at Baylor Hospital on Saturday, January 21, 2006. Rick was a graduate of Hillcrest High School, and attended the University of Texas where he was a member of Sigma Alpha Mu. A concerned and conscientious citizen, he was an involved member of the Rotary Club of Prestonwood (Dallas) through which he found particular enjoyment working as a volunteer for the Amelia Earhart School, and a former member of the Board of Trustees of both the Greenhill School and Challenge Air. Rick's professional career included serving as a member of the Board of Directors of C.S. Group, Inc., and as founder of Parkvest Capital Group. Rick's jovial outlook on life, his concern for others, and his constant sense of humor served as an example for the many survivors he left behind, primarily his wife, Judy Zimmerman Lambert, who he married on June 20, 1965. Together Rick and Judy had two sons, Scott and Kevin, who with their wives Kate Huston Lambert of Houston, and Jamie Herman Lambert of Dallas brought him one of the great joys of his life, his four grandsons: Ashton and Duncan, Garren and Bryson. Preceded in death by his father Seymour Lambert, he is also survived by his mother Marjorie Lambert Gordon; his brother and sister-in-law Lawrence and Michelle Lambert; his sister and brother-in-law Nancy and Fritz Caughron, all of Dallas; and his brother-in-law and sister-in-law Marvin and Gail Zimmerman of San Antonio; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Having spent his entire life in Dallas, he forged friendships here that were paramount in his life--many of those special friends will serve as pallbearers: Charles Zelazny, Lester Melnick, Maury Jaffer, Dr. Charles Gottlich, Stewart Agoos, and Dr. Wayne Goodowitz, all of Dallas, and Dr. Ned Siegel of Santa Fe, New Mexico. Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, January 23rd at Sparkman/Hillcrest Northwest Hwy. Chapel. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his name to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd St., Suite 1100, New York, NY 10016. Dignity Memorial Sparkman Hillcrest 7405 W. Northwest Hwy.
