Jaye, my love, my best friend, my soul mate,
Your parents, Jane and Jerry and sister Robbie prayed for you for many months and they adopted you on March 4th, 1970 in Orlando Florida. You are the love of their life. You grew up Plano and met me in 1986. We both graduated from Plano Senior High School in 1988 with the most amazing group of friends. You went to Texas Tech for a short time and moved onto start your computer career. You earned many prestigious certificates and training in computers and went on to become one of the best Computer Engineers and Security Specialists in Dallas.

You have two beautiful, smart children whom you adore and love more than words can say. You LIVE for spending time with them, watching them grow and can’t wait for their next game, event and birthday. Lauren is your Princess, you adore her in every way. When you two are together, you can’t stop laughing at each other. You admire her wisdom and drive and love watching her grow into a beautiful young woman. Preston is your bud. As you watch him grow, you admire his soulfulness, tenderness and his ability to make you feel like you’re the most special person on the planet. She is YOU. He is YOU. We talk about how fun life is with them and how we can’t wait to grow old together and be grandparents.

You adore your amazing father and respect and love him more each day. Your mother is your best friend, confidant and the biggest example of true love in your life. Your sister is your hero and the one you look to for peace and strength. Your brother-in-law is your “brother” and you adore him in every way. Your nephews are the light of your life and you love spending time with them.

For 44 years, your faith has lead your heart and your life. You know Jesus is your savior. You know that one day you will meet him and sit beside him and talk about what a BLESSING your life was. You have patience, confidence and are just a fun, loving man to be near and to know. Your love for your family, your work, making the world a better place and overall positive attitude inspire everyone around you. You bring energy to a room full of people and light it up with your smile.

You are an amazing man. A gentle soul with love ready to give every moment. You inspire me to be a better woman, mother and friend. You are so smart and teach me something new every day. You are my best friend and the first person I can’t wait to share my day with. You are my other half and the reason that our family is strong and faithful. You lead by example and by faith.

We have spent 24 amazing years together and I don’t know how to do life without you beside me. Our life is simply amazing. God had a plan for your life and I am so blessed to be a part of it. I will miss your sweet smile, feeling your warm hands and kissing your handsome grey goatee. But because God loves you more than I do, I will say to you… See you in Heaven my love. While I know you are only a thought away, I will miss you like crazy, like crazy, but will see you again someday.

Your girl, Cori
