Obituary for Dale
Funeral services for Dale German, 81, Borger, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Gardner Street Church of Christ with Mr. Jim Hess of Borger officiating, assisted by Mr. Richard Kasko, minister.

Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mr. German died Tuesday, July 16, 1991 in Borger Nursing Center.

A native of Quinlan, Okla., he had been a Borger resident since 1930. He retired in 1970 as instrument man for Phillips Petroleum Company. He was a member of Gardner Street Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Gloria Burgin, May 12, 1984.

Survivors include his wife, Beatrice of the home; a son, Gary German of Dumas; a daughter, Joyce Kenimer of Borger; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Steve German, James German, Bobby Kenimer, Kris Kenimer, Lee Burgin and Gary Burgin.

BORGER - Beatrice German, 97, died Thursday, July 31, 2008, in Amarillo.

Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. today in Westlawn Memorial Park with Lee Burgin, grandson, officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mrs. German was born Jan. 23, 1911, in Mooreland, Okla. She was a charter member of Gardner Street Church of Christ, started in 1965.

Survivors include a daughter, Joyce Kenimer of Borger; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
