November 24, 1930 - September 16, 2015
Kenneth Van Gibbs, 84, died Wednesday September 16, 2015 in Borger. Services will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday September 19 at 1st Baptist Church with Pastor Charlie Morgan officiating. Burial will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors.
Kenneth was born November 24, 1930 to Charles and Dora Katherine Fultz Gibbs. He has been a resident of Borger since 1957 and was a member of 1st Baptist Church. He was a proud member of the U. S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict as an Airman 1st Class and was a retired Postal Worker for the U.S.P.S. Kenneth loved his family and woodworking.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his five brothers; Grady, Elmer, J.D., Charles and Damon.
Kenneth is survived by his wife Cricket, two sons Robert Gibbs and his wife April and Gary Gibbs and his wife Cheryl all of Borger, two daughters Sharon Stidham and her husband Ronnie of Hartley, TX and Linda Fetterolf and her husband David of Pampa, his two brothers, Garland Gibbs of Vernon and Ralph Gibbs of San Jose, CA, his ten grandchildren Michael, Jared and Alissa Prock, Brian Gibbs, Amy Barber, Wes Justin and Marcus Fetterolf, Brandon and Aaron Gibbs, and 19 Great Grandchildren and one on the way.
