DENTON - Pearl Pruett Giles, 90, died Monday, Jan. 25, 1993 in Denton.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Brown's Chapel of the Fountains with the Rev. Archie Echols, pastor, First United Methodist Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery by Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Directors.
A native of Mineral Wells, she was a Borger resident for 53 years before moving to Denton in 1989. She was an elementary school teacher for 42 years with the Borger Independent School District before she retired.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Rebekah Lodge, Order of Eastern Star No. 811, Texas State Teachers Association, VFW Ladies Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary, and Borger Senior Citizens Association.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Homer Pruett in 1962 and her second husband, Lynn Giles in 1977.
Survivors include three sons, Cecil Pruett of Borger; Dr. Hugh Pruett of Denton; and Homer Pruett, Jr. of Little Elm; a sister, Irene Robinson of Mineral Wells; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Patrick Pruett, Michael Pruett, Kelly Pruett, Barnes Pruett, Ricky Pruett, and Homer Vallaster.
