*Obituary
John Gilman, 72, of 418 E. Main, Sanford, died at 1:50 a.m. today at North Plains Hospital.
Services are pending with Alexander-Simpson Funeral Directors.
Mr. Gilman came to Sanford from Clinton, Okla. 40 years ago. He was chief operator of Henderson Trust near Sanford. He married Lorine Weir July 16, 1927 in Lefors and was a member of Fritch Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife; one son, Edward W. of Dumas; four daughters, Mrs. Betty Larson of Borger, Mrs. Patsy Hoyle of Albuquerque, N.M., Mrs. Helen May Barnes of Dumas, and Mrs. Elen Kay Ardry of Amarillo; five brothers, Rimer and W.J. both of Colorado City, E.J. of Merced, Calif., Louis and Roy Lee both of Orlando, Fla.; three sisters, Mrs. Bertha Wilbanks of Corpus Christi, Mrs. Willie Wallis of Spearman, and Mrs. Eva Murphy of Phoenix, Ariz.; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
