MRS. JOE DUNCAN IS BURIED ON NOV. 30TH

Funeral services were held Tuesday, November 30, for Mrs. Joe Duncan, formerly Aurie Veda Field, at Sharp.
Mrs. Duncan was born Aug. 8, 1891. She was 46 years and four months old. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Clark of Thorndale.
She leaves a husband: 2 children, Doris and Paul; three brothers and two sisters; Van Field of Sn Antonio, who was the only one not present at the funeral; Mack Clark, of Thorndale; Bill Clark, of San Gabriel; Mrs. Zeke Alford of Rockdale; Mrs. George Andrews, of San Gabriel; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Duncan found the Lord when she was eighteen. She lived a consecrated life to the end, fully putting her trust in God.
She passed away Monday, November 39, at 8:30 a. m. at the home of her sister at San Gabriel, Mrs. George Andrews, where she had been for the past five weeks. Funeral services were held by Evangelist Floyd M. Durham, of Stella, Mo.
The pallbearers were Charlie and Floyd Duncan, Roland Lawson, Lewis Worley, Paul Pittman and James Andrews. One special song was sung at the funeral be two close friends, Mrs. Johnny Reuter of Kenendy, and Mes. Hudson Baker of Austin. They sang "I Was Standing By The Beside Of a Neighbor."
