*Obituary for William
Services for William Andrew Goforth, 80, of 4616 Rose Drive, Amarillo, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the First Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Amos Meador officiating.

Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Mortuary.

Mr. Goforth died Saturday. He had been a resident of Borger from 1951 until 1973, when he moved to Amarillo. He was born Oct. 5, 1897 in Bengal, Okla.

Survivors include one son, Melvin of Amarillo; one brother, Clarence of Afton, Okla.; and one sister, Mrs. Jewel Sisson of Phillips; and five grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Kenneth Oliver, Burl Pipes, J.T. Bowling, Troy Fletcher, Syd Powers, Bill Rogers, Ricky Goforth, and John Moore.
