CRESSWELL, ADELE TAYLOR, of Dallas. Passed away on October 12, 2002. Born January 10, 1914, Greeley, Colorado. Married to the late Roy F. Cresswell, who preceded her in death on September 29, 1993. Survived by son, Ronald R. Cresswell and his wife Carol J. Cresswell; daughter, Linda C. Lambert and her husband Robert W. Lambert; son, Robert J. Cresswell and his wife Yvonne W. Cresswell; grandchildren Courtney Kincaid and her husband Richard Kincaid; Ronald R. Cresswell, Jr.; John R. Lambert and his wife Kelly W. Lambert; great-grandchildren, Travis Kincaid and Caroline Kincaid; sister Bonnie Wendler; sister-in-law Lee Buck. The family especially thanks Adele's devoted care provider, Clara Alexander. Adele attended Colorado State University, Ft. Collins, Colorado, and was a 50-year member of the Gamma Phi Beta Sorority; a 25-year member of Baylor Hospital Volunteers; past president of the Women's Auxiliary of the Home Builders Association of Greater Dallas; a founding member of the Mr. and Mrs. Class of Highland Park United Methodist Church; a member of Eastern Star, Circle 9 at Highland Park United Methodist Church, the Palladian Club and the Dallas Women of Rotary International. Adele was a devoted Christian who prayed daily for her family members and friends. Visitation with the family will be held at Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home, Monday, October 14, 2002 between the hours of 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. Following a private graveside service, a memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 15, 2002, Cox Chapel of Highland Park United Methodist Church, 3300 Mockingbird Lane, Dallas 75205. Dr. Kenneth Dickson will officiate. Memorials may be made to the Mr. and Mrs. Class of Highland Park United Methodist Church. Dignity Memorial Sparkman Hillcrest 7405 W. Northwest Hwy.
