FRITCH - O.L. Gray, 83, died Saturday, Feb. 12, 2005, in Amarillo.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Church of Christ at Borger with Richard Kasko, minister of Fritch Church of Christ, and Stan Mitchell, minister, officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mr. Gray was born April 9, 1921, in Gray, Okla. He had lived in Fritch for 37 years, moving here from Borger. He was a stillman helper at Phillips Petroleum. He served in the Army during World War II. He married Vivian Legate on Sept. 13, 1941, in Cordell, Okla.

He was preceded in death by his wife; a brother; a daughter, Betty Porter; a sister; and a grandson, Michael Gray.

Survivors include two sons, O.L. Gray Jr. and Terry Gray and wife, Julie, of Fritch; two brothers, C.O. Gray of Fritch and Clifton Gray of Peckom, Okla.; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be made through the Church of Christ at Borger to Zimbabwe Orphans Fund, P.O. Box 3364, Borger, TX 79008; or High Plains Children's Home in Amarillo.

The family will be at 215 Tumbleweed in Borger.
