Obituary for R.M.
BORGER - Funeral services for R.M. "Bob" Greer, 64, area operations supervisor for Phillips Petroleum Co., were scheduled for 3 p.m. today in the First Baptist Church.

The Rev. Joe Dee Ray, pastor, was to officiate, and burial was to be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery by Simpson's Funeral Home.

Mr. Greer died Thursday at his home after a long illness. He had worked for the company for 30 years on Oct. 18th.

He had lived in Phillips before coming to Borger in the early 1940's.

His wife is the former Doyce Willingham.

He is survived by his wife; his mother, Mrs. Maggie Greer of Electra; a brother, F.M. of Farmers Branch; three sisters, Mrs. Gladys Fugitt of Electra, Mrs. Halley Hibberis and Mrs. Claudia Sawyer, both of Mesquite, and two grandchildren.

Obituary for Doyce
Mrs. Doyce Greer, 71, 509 Bowie, died Friday afternoon at her home.

A retired employee at Cartwright's, she was a native of Montague County, and an area resident for 44 years.

She was a member of First Baptist Church, Borger Music Club, Twentieth Century, Collectors Club, and Phillips Literature Club.

She is survived by a brother, A.B. Willingham of Shamrock; a sister, Velma Batteas of Pampa, two grandchildren, Shawn Missouri and Kevin Greer, both of Dallas, and one great-grandson.

She is preceded in death by her husband, R.M. Greer in 1970 and her son Allen in 1971.

Funeral services will be held at the First Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Monday with the Rev. Jerry Evans officiating.

Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Home.
