Obituary
Funeral services for Terry Lynn Lee, age 50 of Midland, Texas will be held Saturday, January 16, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Gaines County Cemetery. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home. The church will allow a limited number of attendees inside for the funeral service, and it is suggested that a mask be worn and social distancing practiced, in keeping with CDC guidelines.
Terry Lee was born May 25, 1970 in Hamlin, Texas to Joyce (Fry) and Donald Dean Lee. He was a Baptist and worked in the oilfield as a machinist. He started working as a machinist in Seminole, Texas at Jim’s Machine Shop, and was soon sought out by many as he was the best machinist around. Terry never met a stranger; he was always very kind and would do anything for anyone. He was fun to be around and always joking. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, traveling, and being around his family. He was the best dad anyone could ask for.
Terry Lee passed away at his home in Midland, Texas on Monday, January 11, 2021. He is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents; one niece, Madison Lee; two uncles, Benny Lee and Duane Fry; and two aunts, Brenda Ellis and Sylvia Smith. He is survived by two sons, Brandon Lee and Dylan Snider and wife Brooklyn, both of Midland, Texas; one daughter, Heather Lee of Odessa, Texas; four brothers, Thomas Lee and wife Amber of Weatherford, Texas, Tim Lee of Abilene, Texas, Todd Lee and wife Nettie of Abilene, Texas, and James Cathey of Glasgow, Kentucky; two sisters, Theresa Lee and Glenna Pickett both of Seminole, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
