Obituary
SEMINOLE, TX.... Graveside Services for Martin Gonzales Elizondo, 79, of Seminole will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, January 11, 2021 in the Gaines County Cemetery with Father Jose De Dios Gonzales officiating, under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home.

Martin passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2021, in Odessa, TX.

Martin was born November 12, 1941 in Frio County, TX to Apolonio and Celestina Gonzales Elizondo. Martin became a farmer at a young age. He married Felis Rosales, June 28, 1958, they moved to Seminole in the 60’s where Martin decided to pursue a career as a self-emplyed mechanic. In his free time, he was an amazing craftsman. He loved to create and build things out of wood and metail. Most of all he loved to spend time with his wife, children, and all of his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife Felis Rosales Elizondo May 5, 2020, two brothers; Silverio and Gabriel Elizondo, and two sisters; Monica and Rosa Guajardo.

Martin is survived by three daughters; Adeliada Briseno, Donna Hodges, and Delia Elizondo, five brothers; Matilde, Merejildo, Jose, Efrain, and Elpidio Elizondo, five sisters; Rita Guajardo, Eva Berrones, Glora Torres, Librada Rincon, and Maria Elena Elizondo. Along with 13 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 5 great great-grandchildren.
