GORDON, Velma Velma Gordon entered into Life Eternal on April 6, 2016. She was born in Buffalo, Texas to Robert Edward Smith and Mary Gibbon Smith on April 16, 1915. She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence E. Gordon, M.D. in 1976. She attended Sam Houston University where she earned a B.S. Degree, and did graduate study at University of Texas at Austin. She was an active member of Highland Park Presbyterian Church. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2016, 10:30 A.M. at Highland Park Presbyterian Church, Wynn Chapel. Burial will follow at Sparkman Hillcrest Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Highland Park Presbyterian Church.
