Paul Eugene Guinn, 81, Borger, died at 10 a.m. Monday, April 18, 1994 in Golden Plains Community Hospital.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Minton Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Ray Cobb, pastor Victory Baptist Church in Stinnett.

Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

A native of Gasville, Ark., he had been a Borger resident since 1944. He was a stillman for Phillips Petroleum Company until he retired in 1971. He was a Baptist.

He married Hazel Lowell on March 23, 1932 in Paden, Okla. She died in December 1993 after the couple was married for 61 years.

He was preceded in death by a grandson, Roy Neal May on July 10, 1993.

Survivors include three sons, Gene Guinn of Alva, Okla.; Joe Guinn of Fort Worth; and Jerry Guinn of Tulsa, Okla.; four daughters, Freda June Carter of Oklahoma City, Okla.; Karen May of Stinnett; Linda Smith and Paula Killingsworth, both of Borger; a brother, Austin Guinn of Oklahoma City, Okla.; three sisters, Maria Anderson and Velma Kemp, both of Exeter, Calif.; and Bonnie Wood of Fresno, Calif.; 15 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Hazel Lovell Guinn, 78, Borger, died at 6:59 p.m. Friday, Dec. 31, 1993 in Golden Plains Community Hospital.

Funeral services were at 11 a.m. today at Minton's Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of Bible Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

She was born Dec. 30, 1915 in Cedar Glades, Ark., and had been a Borger resident since 1944. She was a housewife, and was a Baptist.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Roy Neal May, July 10, 1993.

Survivors include her husband, Paul Eugene Guinn of the home; three sons, Gene A. Guinn of Alva, Okla.; Joe W. Guinn of Fort Worth; and Jerry L. Guinn of Tulsa, Okla.; four daughters, Freda Carter of Oklahoma City, Okla.; Karen May of Stinnett; Linda Smith and Paula Killingsworth, both of Borger; a sisters, Jo Frogge of Borger; 15 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
