Herbert R. Haley, 74, Borger, died Sunday morning at his home.
A retired employee with J.M. Huber Corp. where he worked for 42 years, he was a native of Jenkins [sic], Okla. and a Borger resident for 65 years.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church and Isom Masonic Lodge #1242.
He is survived by his wife, Juanita; a son, Patrick [sic] of Borger; and a daughter, Brenda Kay Barringer of Borger; two sisters, Marcella Stewart and Patricia Smith, both of Borger; 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
H.R. Haley and Juanita Arendall were married January 6, 1935 at Spearman. He started Haley Oil & Gas Co. after his retirement.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Brown's Chapel of the Fountains with Rev. Gregg Simmons, pastor, First Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial was in Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Home.

Masonic graveside services will be under the auspices of Isom Masonic Lodge #1242.
Casket bearers are Al Tekell, Erle Gainey, James Zink, Tommy Howard, Bob Adams, Medford Stewart.

BORGER - Juanita Arendall Haley, 90, died Sunday, July 18, 2010.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Westlawn Memorial Cemetery in Borger with the Rev. Robert Hensley officiating. Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Directors.
Juanita was born May 14, 1920, in Abilene to Jesse and Ida Arendall. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
Her hobbies included gardening, which she took pride in working in her yard for the past 20 years. Her other hobbies included golf, painting and fishing.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Herbert Roy Haley; a grandson, Brian Haley; and a great-grandson, Jeremy McCullar.
Survivors include two sons, Roy Haley and wife Joy and Patrick Haley and wife Helen, all of Borger; a daughter, Brenda K. Barringer and husband Bobby of Borger; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Honorary pallbearers are Brad Tyler, Chad Barringer, Brandon Haley, Tyler Caywood, Christian Chavez and Rudy Thomas.
The family suggest memorials be to BSA Hospice, P.O. Box 950, Amarillo, TX 79105.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Brown Funeral Directors Chapel of the Fountains.
