Jeter, Charlotte Barbara Charlotte Born August 17, 1918 in Lockney, TX to Robert & Ada Collins and passed away November 3, 2010 in Allen, TX. Charlotte was a devoted member of First Baptist Church of Allen where she was active in her seniors group. She retired from DISD after 21yrs as the dietitian & personal supervisor of the Dallas school lunch rooms. Charlotte is preceded in death by: husband, W.D. Jeter, step-daughter Leilani Johnson, sister, Dorothy Sue Herron and first husband, Richard Iverson Collier, who was killed in WWII. She is survived by son, Richard Collier & wife Laneta; grandchildren: Erynn Spiller & husband Andy, Tammy Loll & husband Kevin, Christopher Collier & wife Catherine, Misti Hopper & Husband Eric, Jace Johnson & wife Sara and Jo Bob Johnson & wife Denise; numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Friday, November 5, 2010 at Sparkman Hillcrest Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 6, 2010 at First Baptist Church of Allen, 201 E. McDermott Drive, Allen, TX 75002, with Rev. James Carver officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Dallas, TX.
