WADE, LILLIAN COOK, Was born May 29, 1922, in Mertzon, Texas, to James and Alma Sproul, passed away on December 28, 2005, in Carrollton, Texas. Preceded in death by her husband Loy C. Cook in 1989. She is survived by her husband of 12 years, Bob Wade of Farmers Branch; her children James Loy Cook, wife Wendy of Summerfield, FL, Charles "Bobby" Cook, wife Kelley of Coppell, Kathy Filbert, husband Don of Coppell, and Nancy Musselman, husband David of Dallas; and ten grandchildren; sister Geraldine Stiedl of Lewisville, TX; niece Becky Woodward, her son; Bob's children and grandchildren. Lillian was a bank teller for the first bank to open in Sweetwater, Texas and then became a wonderful homemaker. She was a member of the Royal Haven Baptist Church and enjoyed sewing and traveling. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and true friend to all. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Friday, Dec. 30, 2005, at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 31, 2005, at Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
