Bertie Hess, 85, of Erick, Oklahoma, died in Erick, Oklahoma.

A housewife, she was a native of Allen, Oklahoma she moved to Borger in 1946, and then to Erick in 1982.

She was a member of the Gardner Church of Christ.

She is survived by two daughters, Lovelle Webster of Erick, Oklahoma and Janell Norman of Oklahoma City, Okla.; one son, Thurmon Hess of Dumas; one brother, Roy Davis of San Jose, Calif., nine grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and one great grandson.

Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday at the Gardner Street Church of Christ with Mr. Laurenco Garduno officiating.

Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Fatherly Funeral Home of Erick, Oklahoma.

Local arrangements are being made by Chatwell Funeral Home.

The body will lie in state from 1 p.m. until service time on the day of the funeral.
