Word has been received of the death last month of Raymond D. Hetter, 81, of Borger, Texas, formerly of Rock Island.
Mr. Hetter had been office cashier for the former People's Power Co., Rock Island. He moved to Texas a number of years ago.
His death occurred on Oct. 5, and burial was held the next Monday in Texas.

Mrs. Sylvia Jane Hetter, 75, of 209 W. Adams, died at noon Wednesday in North Plains Hospital.
A Borger resident since 1927, Mrs. Hetter was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her husband, Ray; a son D.F. Whittenberg of Los Alamitos, Calif.; a brother, Lyman J. McDonald of Amarillo, and two grand children.
Jane Hetter was past president of Twentieth Century Club, was an honorary member at the time of her death. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Roy Byrd, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Mortuary.
