*Obituary
Katherine Higgins, 73, Borger, died Saturday, Jan. 8, 1994 in Borger Nursing Center.
Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m. today at Minton Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor Bible Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial was in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
A native of Quanah, she had been a Borger resident for 45 years. She was waitress and a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Higgins in 1983.
Survivors include a son, Glyndon D. Collins of Borger; and a sister, Georgia Mobley of Albuquerque, N.M.
Pallbearers were Lewis Myers, Glen D. Parker, Claude Collins, J.C. Collins, Robert Collins, and Richard Collins.
The family requests memorial be made to the Hospice of the Panhandle.
