*Obituary
Bernard St. Claire "B.S." Hinds, 70, of Borger died Monday in the Coronado Community Hospital in Pampa.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Alexander Chapel of Memories with P.M. Cousins, retired minister of the Church of Christ, officiating.

Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery by Alexander Funeral Directors.

A native of New Matamoras, Ohio, he moved to Borger in 1935. He was a retired operator for Phillips Petroleum Company, retiring in 1978. He was a 32nd degree Mason and Scottish Rite. He had owned and operated the Sportsman Club since 1977. He was a Methodist.

He married Eva Kenney in 1934 in Oilton, Okla.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Max Hinds of Pampa and Gary Hinds of Skellytown; a daughter, Myra Hinds of Buda, Texas; two sisters, Maxine Thompson of Tulsa, Okla., and Mary Lou Wood of Oilton, Okla.; one stepbrother, Max Arnold of Neward, Ohio; and seven grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Bob Cook, Kirby Curry, Roy May, J.D. Martin, Kenneth Rannals, and Paul Sintos.
