MARLIN---James (Jim) Frazier 57, of Marlin died Monday.
Funeral services will be 2 p..m. Thursday at Adams Funeral Home, the Rev. Michael Hyden officiating. Burial will be at McClanahan Cemetery.
Mr. Frazier was born on August 16, 1938, in Carroll County, Virginia. He had been a Marlin resident since 1970, moving from Virginia following 13 years of service in the United States Army. He married Veta Tiner on December 27,1966, in Belton . Mr. Frazier was the owner/operator of Frazier's Exxon in Lott, Texas, for the past 3 1/2 years, and was a former construction sub-contractor in the Marlin and Waco area for a number of years. He was active in the Marlin Little League as a coach for a number of years.
Survivors include wife Veta; sons, Jerry Michael Frazier, of Georgetown, Ronald Wayne Frazier of Elgin, Charles Thomas Frazier of Waco and Jerry Mark Frazier of Virginia; brothers, Ralph Wade Frazier of Hineyville, Indiana, Cecil Thomas Frazier of Roanoke, Virginia, and Leroy Frazier of Indiana; sisters, Lois Graham of Boonesville, Virginia, and Gladys Parks and Elsie Ogle, both of Hillsville, Virginia; and 6 grandchildren.
