Borger News Herald - June 29, 1973
Funeral services for Paul Peter Hoefer, 73, 411 Roosevelt, who died at 4:45 a.m. today at North Plains Hospital, will be at 2 p.m. Friday from the First Presbyterian Church with Dr. R.E. Presnall, pastor, officiating. Masonic graveside rites are under the auspices of the Isom Masonic Lodge 1242. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton's Mortuary.
Mr. Hoefer had been a resident of Borger since 1927. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and Isom Masonic Lodge 1242. He was a retired employee of Southwestern Public Service Co.
He is survived by his wife, Hazel; one son, Mickey of Fort Worth; one sister, Mrs. Dorothy Sleter; one brother, Hugo; and four grandchildren.
All lodge members are requested to meet at the Masonic Hall at 1 p.m. Friday.
Pallbearers will be Rod Weddington, R.E. Haynes, Buddy Haynes, Bob Haynes, Don Schaffer, and Virgil Riggan.

Funeral services for Mrs. Hazel Cummings Hoefer, 72, of 411 Roosevelt, are pending with Minton Mortuary.
Mrs. Hoefer, a resident of Borger since 1927, died at 7:32 a.m. today in North Plains Hospital.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and Order of the Eastern Star, Borger Chapter 811.
Survivors include a son, Mickey of Fort Worth and a sister.
