Obituary
Jim Hopkins, 62, of Borger, passed away, Monday, April 15, 2013.

James Norman Hopkins was born November 28, 1950 in Borger, TX to Jack Wallace and Louise (Melton) Hopkins. He was a member of Riverview Baptist Church and Local Union 351. He was a mechanic at Chevron Phillips. Mr. Hopkins married Sharron Sue Bugg on June 2, 1972 in Stinnett, TX.

He is preceded in death by his father: Jack Hopkins and a brother: Terry Hopkins.

Survivors include his wife Sherry Hopkins of Borger, two daughters Holly and husband Todd Coile of Borger, Heather Hopkins of Borger, son Todd and wife Paige Hopkins of Bryan, TX., nine grandchildren Raylee, Brenlee, Tyler, Tanner, Tucker, T.J., Taryn, Landry, and Olivia, and one great grandchild Conner. He is also survived by a brother Glenn Hopkins of Oxford, Miss.

Funeral Services will be 2:30 P.M. Thursday, April 18, 2013, at Riverview Baptist Church in Borger, TX with Pastor Jimmy Gilmore officiating with burial to follow at Westlawn Memorial Cemetery in Borger, TX.

Mr. Hopkins will lie in state in Borger on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 from 8:00AM~8:00PM and Wednesday, April 17, 2013 from 8:00AM~8:00PM. Family will receive friends from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM on Wednesday, April 17, 2013.
