RAYMOND VESEY INJURED IN GRAVEL SLIDE FRIDAY

Raymond Vesey, son of Mr. and Mrs. Will Vesey, is in the Cameron Hospital with a badly broken leg as the result of being caught under a gravel slide while engaged in hauling gravel from the pit north of town last Friday.
Vesey was brought to his home here, where Dr. Sessions gave first aid and rushed him to the hospital. X-ray pictures show that the thigh bone is broken in two places, and that the ends of the fractures are splintered, making a very serious wound.
Vesey is to be operated on tomorrow (Friday) morning, it being necessary for the surgeon to open the leg and wire the bones together at both ends in order to insure the proper knitting of the bones.
