*Obituary for Dr. Mahlon
Dr. Mahlon E. Ingham, 63, Borger, died at his home Friday, Oct. 20, 1989.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Glenneth Harrington, pastor, officiatig [sic].

A native of Newkirk, Okla., he had been a Borger resident since 1953. He was a physican [sic].

Dr. Ingham was a member of the First United Methodist, past president of Top of Texas Medical Society, member of Christian Medical Society, the team physician for Phillips Blackhawks football team for 32 years, Board of American Cancer Society and Heart Association, and lay witness missionary.

Dr. Ingham was also a member of Tri City Concert Board, supported Boomtown Community Theatre Group, was lifetime member of Boy Scouts of America, involved in FPC Sports Medicine program, sang at Borger Music Club and for the Glory of God.

Survivors include his wife, Annabelle of the home; three sons, Greg Ingham of Levelland; John Ingham of Fort Worth; Bob Ingham of Canyon; one daughter, Patricia Overhulser of San Antonio; one brother, Laird Ingham of Ponca City, Okla.; and six grandchildren.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Prayer Group, and local medical colleagues and associates.

Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Annabelle Ingham, 89 of Edmond, OK passed away on January 3, 2017.

Annabelle Hunnicutt was born to Dewey W. Hunnicutt and Esther Cole Hunnicutt on June 24, 1927 in Cushing, Oklahoma. She married Mahlon Ingham (her beloved) on August 5, 1948 at First Baptist Church in Newkirk, Oklahoma where they were raised. Dr. Mahlon and Annabelle lived in Borger, Texas for 45 years. They were members of First United Methodist Church and actively involved in the church choir and lay witness missions sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with many in the community and others throughout the country. Music was a vital part of Annabelle's life. She was a life member of Sigma Alpha Iota, International Music Fraternity and active in Borger Music Club, Barbershop Belles, community choir and orchestra, and both taught and directed music throughout her life. She also established the Hand Bell Choir at FUMC. She was also actively involved in numerous organizations throughout the "Top of Texas". Wherever she and Dr. Mahlon were, they were praising the Lord. Annabelle has been attending Faith Bible Church in Edmond for the last 14 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband Dr. Mahlon E. Ingham on October 20, 1989, her parents and her uncle, Dr. John Cole.

Survivors include her sons Greg Ingham and his wife Patty of Amarillo, Texas; John Ingham and his wife Rhonda of Fort Worth, Texas; Bob Ingham and his wife Janet of Canyon, Texas and daughter, Dr. Patricia Ingham Overhulser and her husband Robert of Edmond, Oklahoma.

12 grandchildren:
Kyle and Lesley Ingham of Amarillo; Kim and Chris Hopson of Canyon; Scott and Erinn Ingham of Canyon; Sarah and Robert Garza of Fort Worth; Cynthia Ingham of Fort Worth; Anna and Nick Yelvington of Edmond Ok and Krista Overhulser of Edmond OK.

6 great-grandchildren:
Allison Belle and Kahlon Ingham, Jacob and Johan Hopson, and Collin and Annabelle "Annie" Ingham.

Sister: Patricia (Hunnicutt Chlouber and husband Ken Chlouber of Leadville CO.

Nephew: Dr. Larry Ingham and wife Carol and their family from San Antonio, Texas.

Niece: Martha Jean and Hank McLeod and their family from Ohio.

Celebration Service will be held Saturday January 21, 2017 at 11 am First United Methodist Church, Borger, Texas. Private interment service. Services are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
