Obituary
Dr. Mahlon E. Ingham, 63, Borger, died at his home Friday, Oct. 20, 1989.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Glenneth Harrington, pastor, officiatig [sic].
A native of Newkirk, Okla., he had been a Borger resident since 1953. He was a physican [sic].
Dr. Ingham was a member of the First United Methodist, past president of Top of Texas Medical Society, member of Christian Medical Society, the team physician for Phillips Blackhawks football team for 32 years, Board of American Cancer Society and Heart Association, and lay witness missionary.
Dr. Ingham was also a member of Tri City Concert Board, supported Boomtown Community Theatre Group, was lifetime member of Boy Scouts of America, involved in FPC Sports Medicine program, sang at Borger Music Club and for the Glory of God.
Survivors include his wife, Annabelle of the home; three sons, Greg Ingham of Levelland; John Ingham of Fort Worth; Bob Ingham of Canyon; one daughter, Patricia Overhulser of San Antonio; one brother, Laird Ingham of Ponca City, Okla.; and six grandchildren.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Prayer Group, and local medical colleagues and associates.
Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
