BRISCOE - Grace Rodgers Irvine, 92, died Wednesday, March 28, 2001.

Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery of Borger. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in First United Methodist Church of Wheeler with the Rev. Ernie McGaughey of Tulia and the Rev. Wayne Sheffield, pastor, officiating. Arrangements are by Wright Funeral Home of Wheeler.

Mrs. Irvine and her husband, the Rev. Edgar Irvine, managed Ceta Canyon Methodist Campground for 23 years. She moved to Fritch in 1967, to Wheeler in 1978 and to Briscoe in 1988.

Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Jennie and Hardy Cole of Throckmorton, Rebecca and Truman Price of Lubbock and Delorse and Bill Rinke of Stanley, Kan.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Dick and Ruth Irvine of Briscoe and Bob and Judy Irvine of Alamosa, Colo.; a sister-in-law, Pattie Teague of Waco; 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials in lieu of flowers be to Ceta Canyon Methodist Camp, HCR 1 Box 31, Happy, TX 79042; Butman Methodist Camp, 158 County Road 674, Merkel, TX 79536; or Abraham Memorial Home, 803 Birch, Canadian, TX 79014.
