Obituary for John
BORGER -- John R. Jackson, 75, died Friday, Aug. 13, 2004.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Brown Funeral Directors Chapel of the Fountains with Marshall Ford, associate pastor of Grace Fellowship Church, officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery.

Mr. Jackson was an instrument man for Phillips Petroleum Co. He married Christine Reed on Feb. 14, 1946.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Bob Jackson of Borger and John Jackson of Fritch; a daughter, Valerie Buck of Borger; a brother, James Ray Jackson of Muskogee, Okla.; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

BORGER - Christine Reed Jackson, 83, died Friday, Oct. 22, 2010.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Brown Funeral Directors Chapel of the Fountains with the Rev. Brent Scoggins officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Jackson was born April 19, 1927, in Crosbyton to Joseph and Rilla Dunn Reed. She married J.R. "Raymond" Jackson on Feb. 5, 1946.

Survivors include two sons, Bob Jackson of Borger and John Jackson of Fritch; a daughter, Valarie Buck of Cypress; three sisters, Lillian Powell of Borger, Fannie Ashley of Plainview and Frances Foster of Kress; six grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
