*Obituary
Ervin A. "Rip" Johnson, 75, 1401 Lancelot, died at 4:40 p.m. Wednesday in Golden Plains Community Hospital.
A retired postal clerk, he was a native of Hydro, Okla. and a Borger resident since 1957.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army in World War II and a member of Gardner Street Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Aline of the home; one son, Robert Johnson of Borger; one daughter, Connie Gallaspy of Borger; two sisters, Pearl Clark of Albuquerque, N.M., Pauline Barton of Amarillo; one brother, Herman Johnson of Granada, Calif., three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Gardner Street Church of Christ with Mr. Richard Kasko, minister, officiating.
Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors.
