Funeral services for Jerry Lynn Jones, 18, son of Mr. and Mrs. H.K. Jones, 7 Sands, Phillips, will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, at the Phillips United Methodist Church with Rev. Rollo Davidson, pastor, officiating.
Burial in Westlawn Memorial Park will be directed by Simpson Funeral Home.
Active casketbearers will be George Robie, Sr., T.A. McClintock, Luke White, D.E. Fine, C.E. Ellis, and R.D. Royce. Honorary casketbearers will be Dick Myers, Don Myers, Sam Campbell, Donnie Sewell, Craig Lowe, and Dick Robie.
Jerry died Wednesday night at the Texas Institute of Rehabilitation and Research Hospital in Houston after suffering from cystic fibrosis. He had been a patient at the Institute since March.
Memorials may be sent to the cystic fibrosis foundation which has been set up at the First National Bank.
Survivors include the parents; brother Jay Kenneth Jones, Lubbock; sister, Roberta Janie Jones, of the home, maternal grandmother, Mrs. W.T. McNeilly, Bartlesville, Okla.; and paternal grandmother, Mrs. J.K. Jones, Oklahoma City.
