BORGER - Bridget M. "Bridie" King, 84, died Monday, May 21, 2007, in Round Rock.
Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today in Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors Memorial Chapel. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in St. John's Catholic Church with the Rev. Guillermo Morales, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park.
Bridie was born Oct. 21, 1922, in Ballyhaunis, County Mayo, Ireland, to Patrick Grogan and Mary Ellen Coyne. She married Roskoe King on Dec. 8, 1945, in Birmingham, England.
Survivors include nine sons and five daughters, Patrick King of Bastrop, Kathie Willemin and Mike King, both of Austin, Edi King of Borger, Gladie King of Leander, Steve King of Elgin, Kevin King of Cedar Park, Peggy Townsend of Borger, Noreen King of Fritch, Brian King of New Braunfels, David King and John King, both of Borger, Bob King of Wimberley and Tim King of New Braunfels; a brother, John Grogan of Amarillo; two sisters, Kathleen Colwell of Amarillo and Chrissie Cantrell of Borger; 23 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
