Funeral services for F.E. (Gene) Langdon, 44, longtime Borger resident and businessman, are pending with Simpson Funeral Home.

Langdon died at 1:20 a.m. today in North Plains Hospital. He was a member of the First Christian Church, and the BPO Elks Lodge.

A former co-owner of Borger Redi-Mix Company, Langdon had also owned and operated a local sand and gravel company until recently.

The family home is at 200 Abilene.

Surviving are the widow, Jimmie; a son, David and daughter, Lyncia, both of the home; his mother, Mrs. Bryan Thurman of Roy, N.M.; three brothers, Amos of Dalhart, Allen of Barstow, Calif., and Fred of Amarillo; a sister, Mrs. Ruth Lea of Stinnett.
