Obituary for Verla
FRITCH - Verla Essie Lagley [sic], 84, died Friday, Aug. 23, 1991 in High Plains Baptist Hospital in Amarillo.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Lee Fuller, pastor of First Southern Baptist Church in Fritch, officiating.

Burial will be by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.

A native of Glennwood, Ark., she had been a Fritch resident for 37 years. She was a member of First Southern Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by a son, Johnnie in 1979.

Survivors include her hsuband [sic], Audie of the home; a son Hershel Langley of Fritch; a daughter, LaVada Thorton of Dumas; three brothers, Wayne Adcock and Jack Adcock, both of Rattan, Okla.; and Harley Adcock of Kennewick, Wash.; four sisters, Ludie Ladyman of Odessa, Vadie Draper of Richland, Wash.; Nolie Jackson of Rattan, Okla.; and Thelma Fatherree of Oklahoma City, Okla.; 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
