Stella Faye Lawson
September 29, 1935 - February 17, 2017
Stella Faye Lawson, 81, of Borger, passed away Friday, February 17 in Amarillo.
Visitation will be held Sunday, February 19 from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Burgin Funeral Home, 200 S. McGee in Borger.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, February 20 at 10:00 a.m. at Church of Christ in Borger, 1100 Bulldog Blvd., officiated by Jeremy Vass.
She was born in Sasakwa, Oklahoma on September 29, 1935.
Stella married Red Lawson in Rangely, Colorado in 1955. They moved to Borger in 1960.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Red, in 2001, and a great-great grandchild, Jordan Velasco in 2017.
Survivors include a daughter, Cheryl Wilson and husband, James; a son, Steve Lawson; grandchildren, Lisa Latham and husband David, and Jamye Wilson and fiance’ Ty Brown. She is also survived by two -great grandchildren, Terran and Zayne Velasco.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Burgin Funeral Home in Borger.
