Obituary for Herbert
Services for Herbert W. "Lighting" Lister, 70, of 1206 Minnesota, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Gateway Baptist Church with the Rev. Roy Henderson, pastor, and V.O. Smith, officiating.

Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery by Alexander Funeral Directors.

Mr. Lister died at 11:05 a.m. Monday in North Plains Hospital.

A native of Shawnee, Okla., he moved to Borger in 1936 for Leedy, Okla. He was a crane operator for Panhandle Crane for 15 years. He was a Baptist.

He married Nora Dixon in 1933 in Cheyenne, Okla.

Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Nadine Williams of Duncan, Okla., Juanita Jackson of Spring, Jeanette Eason of Borger and Cindy Bryan of Fritch; a brother, Winfred Lister of Oklahoma City, Okla.; a sister, Doshia Allen of Coalgate, Okla., nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Ray, Kenneth Ray, J.D. Jeter, J.C. Gunter, Wes Payne and Johnny Walker.

Obituary for Nora
FRITCH - Nora Lister, 90, died Sunday, July 5, 2009.

Services will be at 10 a.m. today in Gateway Baptist Church. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Cemetery by Brown Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Lister was born March 23, 1919, in Little Rock, Ark., to David and Belle Dixon. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include four daughters, NaDean Williams of Duncan, Okla., Juanita Jackson of Spring, and Jeanette Eason and Cindy Blythe, both of Fritch; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
