October 29, 1936 - September 23, 2017

Kenneth Ray Losure, 80, of Borger, passed away Saturday, September 23, 2017. He was born on October 29, 1936 in Dallas.

Visitation is scheduled from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, September 25 at Burgin Funeral Home, 200 S. McGee in Borger. Funeral Service is scheduled for 3:00 Tuesday, September 26 at First United Methodist Church, 200 N. McGee, officiated by Pastor Pam Lehman. Arrangements have been entrusted to Burgin Funeral Home.

Ken graduated from high school in Sterling, Colorado in 1955 and later earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Northern Colorado.

He was self-employed in the oil industry. He loved spending time reminiscing about his adventures in the oil field and entertaining his family and many friends with his stories.

Ken was a generous, soft-hearted man who loved helping people. He touched many lives and will be remembered as a man who loved and truly cared for others.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Thelma Losure.

He is survived by his wife, Jesi, of the home; children, Suzanne Losure and Clint of Thornton, Colorado; Jane Losure of Littleton, Colorado; Marcus Dodson of Borger; Austyn Morales of Amarillo; and Paloma Soliz of Amarillo.

He is also survived by grandchildren Sarah Pike, Ashley Hall, Morgan Brown, Travis Conner, Katelin Pike, Jack Dodson, and Kate Dodson, along with great-grandchildren Maddox, Boston, Parker, Grayson, and Emory.
