FRITCH - Estel John Lunday, 88, died Saturday, Feb. 17, 1996 in his home.
Services are pending with Brown Funeral Directors.
A native of Sandy, he had been a Fritch resident for 53 years. He was a retired fieldman with Panhandle Eastern Pipeline Company, and was a member of First Baptist Church in Fritch.
He married Lila Quee Metts on June 11, 1927 at Paint Rock.
He was preceded in death by a son, Harold Joe Lunday in 1929; and a brother, Roy Lunday in 1990.
Survivors include his wife; a son, G.H. Lunday of Fritch; three daughers, Marlene Cunningham, Lily Quirk and Debra Wells, all of Fritch; two brothers A.J. Lunday of Wimberley; and Clifford Lunday of New Braunfels; five sisters, Ethel Brasuell and Mabel Cowen, both of New Braunfels; Sybil Schave of Wimberly; Henryetta Cowan of Fritch; and Noal Lee Brasuell of Houston; 8 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Panhandle.
